Martha Mlambo is a Communications and Information professional with over 14 years of experience. Currently she is providing technical backstopping in the communications and information department at ZWRCN as a volunteer. She is also involved in promoting women’s rights and empowerment by advocating for social and economic justice in Zimbabwe and globally. She is a former Development Research and Social Policy Analysis Centre (DRASPAC) Research Fellow and is part of the Fredskorpset Norway Alumni. At DRASPAC, Martha was part of a team that is involved in academic research and social policy analysis. Martha holds an Executive Diploma in Leadership and Management from the University of Zimbabwe and a Higher National Diploma in Library and Information Sciences from Harare Polytechnic College Zimbabwe. She is also finalising her studies in Media Studies with the Zimbabwe Open University. She is also a member of The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) and is also a member of the International Literacy Association (ILA). Martha enjoys writing and networking.
