Pamela is a passionate women’s rights activist with over two decades experience working in the development sector at national, sub regional and regional level. She has held diverse and progressively responsible positions as national Coordinator of a women’s legal rights programme, national paralegal programme, and coordinated regional human rights and gender networks. She has also worked as Director of Programmes for a regional information organisation and Technical Support for regional and national UN agencies. She has co-authored publications on gender and development issues, and has undertaken numerous consultancies on gender, law and development, and women’s rights. Pamela holds a Master’s degree in Law in Development (University of Warwick), and an undergraduate degree in law (LLB, University of Botswana). In her personal time Pamela likes to read, watch movies and spend time with her friends.
