ZWRCN identified young women in Epworth to participate in the ICT supported project that ZWRCN is implementing to provide sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information to young women aged between 18 – 24. Part of the process involves sensitising the young women on their rights as enshrined in the Constitution, as well as training them on the use of diverse electronic resources to access information. On 19 May, 2015 ZWRCN brought 22 young women together from Epworth and sensitised them, in a training session, on their sexual rights and personal empowerment in regard to sexuality. The training focused on taking the young women through a discussion on understanding their bodies and issues of bodily integrity. The training then focused on the basics of computer literacy, including an emphasis on the importance of utilising computers to access to a wide range of information on SRH.
