British Ambassador to Zimbabwe Ms Catriona Laing has commended Zimbabwe for making efforts in promoting gender equality. Speaking at the International Women’s Day dialogue at her residence in Harare on Monday, Ambassador Laing said Zimbabwe had ratified a number of international conventions to promote women empowerment and development.
