Tafadzwa Roberta Muropa, joins ZWRCN Board with expertise in resource mobilization, strategy development, and movement building. She is a Gender and Development Consultant with 17 years of working experience in the non-profit sector in East and Southern Africa. She has attained skills and expertise in capacity strengthening, program management, resource mobilization, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, movement building, and communication. Tafadzwa has received post-graduate short course training in Public Policy and Governance with Africa University and with a number of institutions, with a focus on human rights, gender justice, and macroeconomic policy. She is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic History and Philosophy from the University of Zimbabwe. Tafadzwa provided technical support to implementing partners in public policy discourse, gender and social inclusion programming, and human rights programming. Some of the international organizations that she has worked with include Christian Aid -Zimbabwe, ActionAid -Zimbabwe, ActionAid- Uganda, Progressio-Malawi, and We Effect-Regional Office for Southern Africa. She has also worked with local civil society organizations which include the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD,) Centre for Natural Resource Governance(CNRG), Magamba Network, and Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe. Tafadzwa has also provided consultancy services by focusing on conducting end-of-project evaluation, rapporteuring services for workshops and conferences and facilitating training workshops. Some of her clients include Diakonia -Zimbabwe, ActionAid -Zimbabwe, Centre for Natural Resource Governance (CNRG , Zimbabwe Association of Community Radio Stations(ZACRAS, Economic Justice for Women Project(EJWP), Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development(ZIMCODD)
