Dr Rudo Chigudu

Rudo Chigudu is a feminist, activist and artist fiercely committed to social justice and human rights particularly women’s sexual and reproductive rights. She has experience in using creative arts as a feminist popular education tool to politicise women’s sexuality and its linkage to broader political discourse. Rudo has a keen interest in international human rights law and holds a Master of Philosophy in Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Africa. Combining rights knowledge with creative arts Rudo seeks to engage in more meaningful social justice for women in the social, economic and political arenas. Rudo engages in organisational development work through the lens of collective care and wellbeing. Her approach to social justice is based on principles of self determination by communities.
